So, a trip to Europe for 15 days definitely throws any kind of schedule off track, in the best way possible. I am so grateful for my time between Rotterdam and Berlin. I’m so grateful to have been with people I love dearly. The history I was able to be near and experience touched my heart and soul, I’ve had that happen before, such an awesome feeling. It was wonderful to experience several different languages and cultures. It was fun to have to rely on non-verbal communication to get around when you can’t speak the language, talk about having to rely on a boatload of trust. Smiling helps a lot! And, it was wonderful to have time to reflect and write. I wrote a lot about trust and vulnerability, a deeper dive than I have before. This trip was one for the record books.
I’m back with a new energy, refreshed, new eyes. I’m ready to be a bigger risk taker. I’m ready to be even more vulnerable.
My summer officially begins tomorrow, and I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds. There will be more and new research, new students, a few new projects, and definitely some surprises. I hope you’ll join me on Friday’s to get the latest. It’s going to be a great time.
As you begin your summer, I truly hope you find a new energy to push your dreams, goals, and commitments forward…maybe take a few risks and be vulnerable.
See you Friday, have a great week!
